    Pictures of Nyx! (pic heavy)

SO I finally had the patience to take pictures of Nyx instead of just let her hang out in her favorite spots, my hair or ears The person I got her from was what I'd call a hobbyist breeder I guess. He sold her to me a while ago as a 'true red tail' but he wasn't sure what exactly, and he thought she might've been a pastel. Anywho! I don't care, I love her But, I found Starmom's post of her beautiful girls that make me tingle with envy, and Zelda really makes me think of Nyx when she's older. I dunno what exactly Zelda is though so, I'll just leave it at that Anywho! The first couple pictures were before I could figure out how to make the flash actually work and stay on, and I've got her last shed laid out behind her because I'm uber proud of that shed Enjoy!

^^^I have no clue why my camera just had to focus on the wrong part of her, this would've been my favorite picture if her face wasn't blurred out

And to show you how adorable she is, here's where she ALWAYS has to go whenever I have her out

Hey there!!! I know what Zelda is: A Giant Troublemaker!!!!!

No, seriously, Zelda is a pastel Bci from Mike's Aby line. She is a gorgeous snake with quite a bit of attitude and who has also settled down a lot!! Though she continues to look at me as an over-sized food item, she and my son relate to each other very very well. She's a very cool snake-- I just can't seem to get near her without her responding negatively. I'll chalk it up to a past life karmic debt

Thanks guys! I absolutely adore her, she's my favorite snake. Nyx has the most colorful personality, I love it For a baby she is just soo laid back, isn't nippy or jerky at all. She's really calm and soo fun. She makes me giggle so much when I'm handling her, because the moment I've got her out she slides right up my arm, around my neck, then around my half bun and up over my ear LOL! Oh man if eyes could shapeshift I'd be looking at her through hearts <33

Hahah! I seriously hope I don't luck out and get a large snake that may think I'll taste good But I was just wondering, not that it's really important, but for siggy purposes, would you say Nyx would be pastel? Since the person I got her from said he thought she was, and I saw the difference between her and my Nefer right away, until recently I had Pastel on my sig next to Nyx's name. Buut I figured I wasn't sure and I didn't want it to say something that wasn't true lol

If that snake is still crawling around your head when its full grown, that might be something to worry about.

I don't know too much about morphs, but the tail looks more reddish than my BCI's. Then again, Nyx is still a young snake, the colors might change as it ages.

Yea I think in a few months when she realizes she's just too big for my ear, she's going to be upset lol. I think I'll miss it too, she's like my little snake camera, just sits there and watches everything I do

The biggest difference I see between her and my common, Nefer, is that Nefer's overall saddles are a bit darker, and her tail is nearly all black with little speckles of orangish brown. Nyx's tail is mainly only lined with black, and hints of black inside her orangish reds. She's a gorgeous girl nonetheless As much as I'll miss my little snake camera, I just can't wait till she gets bigger and not so fragile.
