    Local Education Website *opinions*

Alright, so here is the deal. Working on my masters, I take on and train about 3 dozen students a year in the local herps and field techniques and give a handful of slide shows and presentations to local k-12 schools. So last year a teacher from one of the highschools kept hassling me to work on a website for basic herp education for our area (knowing I am not very web saavy). SO, I did think it might be useful as an additional resource for the college kids I'm training up, and ergo, I decided to have a go.

It is in the rough stages, but have a look and feedback would be appreciated. Please bear in mind that we have $0 budget and I have limited time to learn this stuff and implement it. Thanks in advance.

Too much open space to the right. Make your window non scrolling, if you can.

Make the middle area a little wider to fill some of that space to the right, Possibly center it slightly * again wider*

    It looks NICE though, overall!!!

Thanks! here's my problem with the width thing. I poached the framework off a free template that apparently had *fixed* widths instead of expanding. I have absolutely NO idea how to change it without jacking up the content. And of course, in typical fashion, I didn't even notice until I had the thing almost done.

I think that at the beginning stages, it looks great. My biggest grin came from the contact page. Hate mail goes to the white house. -Giggles.- Too great.

Actually, I wasn't even bothered by the blank space to the right. I think it's great, and I love the interactive species generator thingy at the top where you click "next." You have to get some more species put on there. That's what I clicked on first, and probably would have continued clicking for ages. -lol-

Yeah, I got a laugh out of that, too.
