Not a good shed month for me!

well it seems like everyone wanted to shed this week. my lesser shed in transit and the pastel was half shed. he got a little dried out during shipping so he need some extra mositure. i also got a normal female shipped to me agian in shed. she shed last night all the way except a small patch on her back. i mositened her and it slid right off. my chondro also went through a ruff shed. she was the worst. she actually had her head part of the shed suck to her neck, mid way down her, only the top was shed off and the back third of her was still unshed. i soaked her and all came off except the back part. i really misted her and she crawled out of the box i had her in (she was in a box with paper towels and a cotton towel to try and get her to shed out). in doing so, the back half of her started to shed again in my hand so i helped her with the rest. that was actually really cool!

my humidity is good except when the space heater is on. it was set up to rotate in the room but now i have it pointing away from the racks and cages to help with this. im going to start stepping up the humidity much more when the blues come around.

My little BP male had some trouble shedding also. I bumped up the humidity and sprayed him with a shedding aid spray and that really helped a lot. He then had a nice clean shed.
