It's amazing how they change as they grow. I took some updated shots of my 2008 season hatchlings from my only clutch. Two of them took a little longer to get started, but now they're all pounding food. I haven't parted with any of them. I knew I wanted to keep a pastel male to replace my less than ideal adult male pastel, so I've kept both boys to see how they mature.
The cinnamon female is eventually going to my wonderful friend Christie, and I'll eventually part with one of the pastel males, but that pewter, she's staying here.
The yellow and contrast on this boy is SWEET!
But...the blushing on this male pastel is NUTS!
They've actually gotten progressively brighter with each shed, gotta love lemon pastels!
This clutch has still greatly exceeding any expectations that I had set. Now just to wait until the Pewter is breeding size! Haha!
