    Would this work for Amazon?

Yes, I want one badly. I have this tank, I used it as a plant vivarium.

I believe it's a 65 gallon? The only problem I can see after reading for hours and hours is how to clean the bottom. Any ideas? or drawbacks you can see?

Hi grammie. saddly...no. Thats a horrible enclosure for a BP. Think smaller and lower like a 20 gallon long tank or a tub.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought you were talking about a BP.

I don't know anything about them but I would think your hex tank would work great.

If you go with a baby, i suggest a rubbermaid or sterilite tub for a while before going with a display type setup, the type of setup you have would be too big and could cause the little guy stress. Otherwise if you do end up using this setup, it may be hard to clean, which is very important with maintaining this species. Keep it simple.... I'm providing a link for you to concider. Good luck.
