Could she already be gravid???

Well first off im totally new to breeding, so bear with me.

I first introduced my het pied male to my f1 ch/wc female around the first of October. I didn't do any cooling or anything, but they locked up with in the first week. Ive been rotating him in and out every 3-5 days since then and I have seen lock upon lock. Well lately my girl has been in her water bowl every time I check on them. Weather I have the male in with her or not. I did my weekly weighing of all my snakes on Sunday, and she has gained 135g's in two weeks. Shes still been eating great and defecating regularly, so I don't think her weight is her just being plugged up :p. When I put her back in with him I put the male kind of on top of her to see if any more courting would happen and when i checked on them 20 min later she was back in the water bowl. i dont think shes getting ready to shed either, because shes not pink at all. and usually when she does shed she doesnt spend that much time in the water anyway.

Ive also checked both of them for mites just in case, but they both seem to check out fine.

SO YOU GUYS THINK SHE COULD BE GRAVIDDDD???

kind of a dumb question i guess considering the circumstance, but im still new. she looked pretty swollen a few days ago too but then it went away.

Yes it is quite possible that she could be. Keep an eye see if you notice an Ovulation swell if it has not already happened. Females that are gravid tend to do several things. Soaking, Bowl wrapping, Laying belly up, ect. are things to watch for and tend to be indicators of a mother to be.

i just checked on her again tonight, and she is defiantly ovulating .

also, do you think its too early to be able to feel follicles?? because i think ive felt two

If she's ovulating already, its past time to be able to start feeling folicles. Another thing to watch for is if she stops eating. Most balls will stop eating when they become gravid.
