How much would you pay?

I am just curious as to how much any of you would be willing to pay, or approve of paying to have your website made for you by a skilled, or atleast decent web designer.

When I worked for the non profit company we had one site and then had another built and a lot of stuff transferred. But we had an online store, and a board for posting.
Both websites were well over 3 thou, to 5 thou, plus some.
Especially if you add lots of features, and it is done by proffessionals who have companies specifically for that. Not to mention the server and the web hosting.
