    tank and bedding help

    hey i was wondering i have a baby bp and some guy told me to go ahead and get a 30 gal tank so my snake could get used to it and i wanted to know if i should ,and also what bedding should i use for my tank

    It is believed that a large enclosure can stress the snake. I would get smaller home. I use aspen, it helps hold humidity. Newspaper would be easy to clean. Lots of choices, but do not use cedar.

    If its just a baby put it in a 10 gallon. Give it a really long and low to the ground hide and have heat on one side. So he can move to cooler temps if he needs and still feel secure hiding. Or put in 2 hides. Ball pythons like hides that touch them all over. The base of flower pots works well.
