Get some prevent-a-mite, take snake & water out, spray enclosure, wait a few minutes and replace water & snake. Some people use reptile relief, but I don't know anything about it...Others will be able to give a better answer than this.

ok take everything out of his enclosure clean it put him on paper towels and use provent a mite you can get it here beanfarm.com in the meantime pick all the ones you see and smoosh them. it wouldnt hurt to give him a nice soak either. if you use any wood in his enclosure bake it for a half an hour at 350 in the oven. hope this helps good luck

you can also put all the tank accesories in the freezer for half the day and that will kill anything also. Thats if you dont want to go the oven bake method.

    Re: Oh No! :(

i came home today and there were alot of dead mites on his paper towel. i srpayed down everything again but when i took out one of his hides there were big ones and a bunch of small ones all over it i was guessing that some hatched so i threw it out and i sprayed him down and such. tonight im giving him a good treatment other then just spraying him in his tank. but i see that his mouth is begining to stay open for long periods of time does anyone know why? is he just being very bugged from them or somthing? this is not good.

What are you spraying your snake with?
Do you hear popping or wheezing sounds coming from the snake?
Do you see any sign of mucous around the snake's mouth or slimed around the snake environment?
Have you used Provent-A-Mite as PAM works for weeks and so kills any mites that hatch out?

Sounds like your snake is in the early stages of an RI.
