    FINALLY! Some good pics!

    I made a light box using the info from this forum. If you haven't read it, do so the pics come out pretty good and im no photographer! for these i used a black background to help bring out the chondro. this little one is a year and a half old and still holding lots of yellow!! fingers crossed!





    i should add that he is a little on the skinny side. two months ago he/she regurded and we are slowly working our way up.

    yeah next week we are jumping up to adult mice. then next month i hope to get him on rat pups which will make getting feeders a little easier!

    He doesn't look skinny to me.....looks pretty normal for a Biak. They tend to look 'skinny' compaired to other locales until they get larger. Young Biaks have a more pronounced backbone ridge. I think he looks great.

    Well, although I've had her for over 2 years now, she's still not quite up to size. I would estimate her to be around 4-5 years old, judging by her size when I received her.....plus, she turned green about a year ago in just 4 days. lol. I still haven't decided on what to put her with. I may just ship her off for a pure canary breeding....I like them too-green or yellow. Maybe a canary x biak cross, but I have a few others here that I haven't put on the website yet. One of these days I'll get some spare time to create their pages.
