Securing Flexwatt

Hello,

First time for me using Flexwatt and I have a quick question:

I am securing to hardboard with foil tape. Do I/should I cover the Flexwatt completely with tape or just the edges?
I am using a wire shelving unit for my make-shift snake rack and have the hardboard to lay on top of the wire shelf. The tub(s) will slide back and forth on this at the same time I will be placing little rubber "feet" on the bottom of each tub so it will not be in direct contact with the Flexwatt.
Do I even need the feet or can I let the tub rest on the Flexwatt? (OK I had 2 questions . . .)

Here is a pic of the one I have already set up. (side view) At this time I do not have a T-stat and will be using a dimmer so I have a temp probe taped to the Flexwatt and am using a temp gun for tub temps.

That is taped pretty much how Most people tape.

As far as the feet go, assuming that your flexwatt is hooked to a thermostat, you could put the tub right on the flex.
