Awww what a cutie. I adore my Macklots, she is just an awesome snake. As long as you handle him, he will calm down. Though if he is anything like mine, he will be one inquisitive little bugger. I can't get pictures of her b/c she never sits still long enough. I am still looking to find a male, but I want one that is a couple years old.
    Good luck and enjoy!

I love Macklotts! The funny thing about them is, they tend to be very defensive up to a certain age. It almost seems like they change overnight. They make great captives once they get past that bitey stage......very calm and easy going snakes. I think the un-popularity is due to their juvenile behavior. They are beautiful snakes and only get better with age. Just wait until that bright yellow chin comes in. Congrats.

They are beautiful snakes. I've heard the more your handle them the more tame they become over time~they most still stay a bit "hyper".
