Strange behavoir?
I paired my normal male with one of my females and they started moving very roughly and backing away from each other like they were enemies. I spreated them right away and they calmed down I jsut never seen this behavoir before.So any ideas of whats going on?

wow - i'm pretty amazed no one has replied to you.
Are you sure that one of them is female? Mature males can tend to have an intense dislike for one-another.

It does sounds like combat behavior between two males. I would double check the sexes of the two animals.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of days ago (two males that I thought were females in combat with the males that I was trying to breed them to). I am double-checking this weekend to be certain they are boys, but I am pretty sure that's what it is. Too bad since they were my 'dinker' females. Oh well...

Sounds like you have 2 males there....I put 2 males together before I started breeding a week or so ago. A pastel and a normal. Seperated them after 2 minutes and popped the pastel in with a female and they were locked within 10 minutes.

Sounds like two males fighting, I'd doubt check both snakes sexes.
