There are other species of Rhacodactylus geckos that essentially have the same diet as Crested geckos. Those geckos would be Chahoua,Leachianus,Auriculatus,Sarasorum, and Trachynchus. There are other geckos such as Daygecko species that can live on a partially non-insect diet.I'm sure that there are a few others out there but thats what comes to the top of my head.

Iguanas comes to mind. They can eat bugs as babies, but become mostly vegetarians as juvies and adults.

I know our Uromastyx's don't need or really should have bugs. And they are pretty cool lizards. But they do like it hot!

Uros. They like it hot and dry, with plenty of fresh veggies. I give mine a dish of crushed dry beans for added vegetable protein. No bugs- they can have them in moderation, but they don't need them, and too much is bad for them, so mine don't get any, and are fat and happy.

Love those pics, Silverwolf. I use paper plates for mine, too...
