What to do when your away

Ive been wanting to buy myself a leopard gecko, but i heard they need to be fed every day or every other day. What are you supposed to do when you leave for a long weekend or on vacation for two weeks? Is there any way to ensure theyll have enough food or do u just let them be for 2 weeks and theyll only be rlly hungry when you come back.
Sorry might be a dumb question but im used to ball pythons who can go a year without eating.

If they have enough fat reserves in their tails and plenty of water, Leo's -can- go 2-3 days without eating. I don't suggest doing that, but if you can't find anyone to feed them while your gone, then just make sure to feed them adequately when you get back. As far as a week long vacation or longer, you will need to find someone to watch them while you are gone. They would definitely suffer if left for a week being unfed.
