When people say shipping to "lower 48" when in fact, Hawaii is "lower" than Florida. The most northern state, besides Alaska, I think is Minnesota. Maybe some people don't know how to spell Continental?

The term "lower 48" was coined when Alaska was the 49th State and Hawaii was not yet a State.
