Hi all,
I had NO intentions of bothering this poor snake till he had his acclimation, but Deb INSISTED I get on it.
I picked up 3 snakes at the Montreal Expo this past weekend, by the time I got them home (I am a metro and bus guy) the poor snakes were cold and I wanted to get them into QT and warmed up, so I didn't take any pics.
And as cruel fate would have it, when I cracked the tub to peek at my new additions, my most anticipated snake was in full blue. But he went out of blue the next day, looked pretty hot, then tonight when I looked in he was wearing a zippy new suit and looking like "whoa, you love me or what!?"...
So I had to take a pic to prove I wasn't lieing and I did FINALLY get my Fire.
For those that know me, know that I LOVE Fires. I have wanted one for a looooooooooong butt time, but just ruled them out due to the cost factor.mWell a few years later and a third job later... I got my Fire male and a 1.1 Enchi pair as well (no pics yet).
It wasn't until I was at the show and heading to pick up my newbs that I realized that I had never seen a Fire OR an Enchi in person before, but had wanted them for the longest time. After seeing them I could not be happier with all 3. They far exceeded what I had ever expected either of them to look like.
And I know people say it all the time, but pictures do not do either of these morphs justice. In person they are the "super" versions of what they look like in photos.
Oh yeah, the snake... here he is freshly shed.
I mean really... look in the face. Can't you just hear him saying... "I like totally love you and stuff"... and yes, 40 photos later and not ONE with a clear head shot. He is a busy busy busy boy.
Bruce
PS: I think I may wear him on my hat to work tomorrow. I mean he has to be seen!
