Chicagoland Reptile Show?
Just wondering if anyone regularly went to this event. I live about an hour away and am thinking of attending every once in a while.
If anyone doesn't already know it is in Wheaton, IL and is held twice a month.

Thanks in advance

I go on occasion. It at times has a decent selection. As far as I know it is the only local show to be held on a regular basis. I have picked up a few nice animals there.

I'm there every show.
Was there something you wanted to know about it?

Nothing in particular, just wondering if it was worth attending

Re: Chicagoland Reptile Show?
I'm there every time to pick up rodents.
I don't have any other shows to compare it to, but I think it's pretty big considering it runs every other weekend. It's in two pretty big rooms at the fairgrounds, and can get crowded.
It used to be a reptile show, but is now an all animal expo, so there are cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, etc... there in additional to the reptiles.
Several vendors have good selections of BP morphs at good prices. BPs are my interest, so I haven't been keeping an eye on the other items, but I do know there are some spectacular tarantulas there.
A few regulars I've received beautiful snakes from are Mark Petros (www.ballpython777.com), George Knaack (http://www.tbc.net/~gknaack/), and Scott Michaels DVM.
Tomorrow's show will probably be dead due to Tinley last weekend, but it'll be back to normal by the show after that.

Thanks for the info! I will definitely try to make it one of these weekends.
