    Shed

My '08 male is currently trying to go through his first shed with me. It appears he is having quite a time trying to split the skin on his nose rubbing it on tank, substrate(aspen), newspaper balls, and the smooth sides of the hide. There isn't really anything that I would consider rough in the tank. The humidity is at 58%. Do yall think I should bump it up a little, purchase a little branch tomorrow, or both?

You should try to keep rocks and branches in there so they have something to rub against when they shed. I wouldn't bump the humidity to more than 70% or so, otherwise you risk mold. But yes on the rough stuff.

Thanks, I had kind of been thinking about getting something that would look good, be low to the ground so he wouldnt injure himself climbing and be rough so he would have some aid in the shed process, just haven't been to the store to get it. Now I guess I'll be stopping by on the way back from campus tomorrow.
