    Pinstripe or super pastel?

I'm thinking of buying another BP (have an 07 male normal)

There is an 08 super pastel male at my local reptile shop, and i have an eye on a 07 pinstripe male, both are the same price £800. With a possible eye to breeding in the future, which would you go for?

It really comes down to what YOU like the most. I would go for the Super because I like them more than pins. I also like the fact that when you breed a Super you will not get any normals.

You need to get the one that you like best.

    Re: Pinstripe or super pastel?

Cheers guys, roughly/on average when would 08 males be ready to be considered for breeding (i know that they all grow at different rates, but just a rough guess)

I think i would like to have a go at breeding late 2009,on a small scale of course. The pinstripe could be at breeding weight by this time next year. Spiders are my favs, so may be a female spider with the male pinny in late 09, could get some spinners??

males breed early some have even been bred in the 300-400g range.. females take alot longer so your better off investing in females and then buy the males closer to when you need them, the price will likely be lower too..

An '08 male should be more than ready by next year. I love Pins..Go with what you like but for me it would be Pin over Super Pastel.

    Re: Pinstripe or super pastel?

Well, my top recommendation is to just go with what you want. In my opinion though, I dont see many super pastels for sale, and I have never heard of supers for that low of price, but I have heard of pinstripes that are even cheaper than that. But then again its all up to you, both are great morphs to get, if it were up to me I would try to dart for both.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Pinstripe or super pastel?

I honestly couldn't make up my mind either.

Pinstripes are some of my favorite morphs, but there is nothing like a nice Super Pastel, in my opinion.

Not a very good picture, but they are both so lovely, if you ask me.
