    sick bp

I just adopted a sick bp. She's already been to the vet and is on 2 different antibiotics. She has a RI and mouth rot. She's just about to shed. The thing is-she's also so thin her stomach is sunken in. She isn't interested in eating-should I just let her go ahead and finish the shed and try again later or should I put her through the stress of force-feeding since she's SO thin? The girl I got her from said she had a pink last Wednesday (a week ago).

If she's on antibiotics she probably won't eat. Force feeding may be more stress than she can handle. I'd probably ask the vet's opinion, since she's under a vet's care.

I agree with Theresa, check with your vet. I should hope one of the first things he did was weigh your snake and evaluate her overall health level.
