    Skink advice

Just wondering what is the best way to go about handleing them. I've been trying to put my hand in front of him to try to get used to me , but he's still pretty timid. He dosen't bite but does hiss from time to time. Should I just pick him up to get used to being handled? Or should I give him more time and let him get used to my hand being in there and let him crawl into my hand on his own?

    Any advice is appreciated.

If its a Blue tongue skink, its all bluff.

I grab mine ( i have 2 ) from behind, with a finger close to the back of the head, that way they cannot reach to bite. GIVEN mine have never bit, are not aggressive, and LOVE attention. Thats what I do.

    Hope it helps.
