    Exclamation HELP! white spots...

hi guys. i have a huge problem. My ball python has been doing really well the last 6 months ive owned him. Hes been feeding and shedding perfectly.

Lately ive been really busy and havent been able to keep as good of an eye on him and my dad who doesnt know much has been taking care of him.

i fed him three days ago and he was perfectly fine but His humidity levels have dropped down to 20% and he has white spots on his skin that look almost like mold or something. My dad has also noticed mites on him. i dont know how things have gotten so bad in just three days?!?!

has anyone heard of these "white spots"? is this from the mites?

any help is appreciated!!!! i would take him to the vet right now but the closest one is an hour away so im trying to get some knowledge of what this is before i take him.

I can't help you diagnose your snake but I can give you some perspective on drive time!!

For you to drive only one hour away must be really nice!! I need to drive 2.5 hours and over a mountain range to get to the closest qualified herp vet!! This is really rough in the winter time!!!

Yea you for only needing to drive one hour.... Have you made that appointment yet????! Remember, only a vet can really give to you the knowledge you are seeking.....
