    Boa Breeding?

    Am I too late?

I have not introduced my male with my female yet. I have not started to cool either. I feed both of them two days ago. When should I start cooling, and when should I introduce them? I thought that boa breeding season coincided with ball python breeding season. After searching thought the site, it seems boa season started in September.

    Thanks.

Im dropping my rack temp Now. Gonna start introducing later this month, once my temps get down.

A good friend of mine said that you lower the rack a few degrees every week untill your at or below 85. I have read that Imperators will breed with as little as 12% temp change.

Check out rio bravo, they have some good tips.

Thanks Patrick, how does this sound?

At this point my hot spot on my female is set to 92 F day and night.

Now, set day temp 3F lower and start night drop 10F lower.
Lower both day and night temps by 3F every 7 days.
End on October 27th. (temp will now be 80F day / 70F night)
Introduce male into female’s enclosure on November 1st
