Someone help me..please?
I've had my BP for about a year now. Every feeding has been great, and the sheds were all one piece. My temps right now are for the coolside-82ish, warmside-92ish, ambient-84ish. Its a 32 quart tub with a heating pad under the warmside and an rbi hide, and the coolside has nothing but a water dish and an overhead red light shining down about a foot away from the tub to keep that side up to temp. I have had absolutely no problems thus far, but today, (or for the past 3-4 days)he has been out more than usual. He is going through a shed right now, still in the early stage though. But whenever he's in his shed cycle he usually moves about and sometimes through the water, and every time he leaves a big crap in the water and on the paper. So like always i change it, and i tried to put him back in his tub today and he just refused to go back in. So i kept picking him up and trying to get him in the tub, but he would frantically move and seem to try to get away, so therefore i know he's stressed about something? I'm just confused after all this time with everything fine, why is he acting so stressed. I figured it would be something in my husbandry but my temps, humidity are fine as far as i can tell right now. I have an accurite digital for the warmside, the basking spot, ambient. And a flukers digital for the coolside. And my temps are controlled by herpstat.
thank you guys, please help me out

It sure doesn't sound like anything is wrong to me. He may be stressed from being handled while in shed though. I try and handle mine as little as possible (only if the cage needs cleaning) while they are in the "blue". If your temps and humidity are correct as you state, then just let him be.

You say you've had him for a year or so....does that mean he's just about a year or so old? Could be a bit of restlessness coming on with sexual maturity as well. Either way though...snakes can have "moods" and bad days or just be weird sometimes for reasons we'll never know.
Best thing is to just let him be for awhile and observe with as little intrusion as possible.
