Double Clutches?

I've heard of kingsnakes having like two or three clutches of eggs in a year due to sperm retention... does this happen with ball pythons too?

One of my girls laid eggs 68 days ago (I slit them on day 57 and they're still in the eggs alive but haven't pipped yet... that's another thread...). She's pretty much refused food since then, yet has swelled back up like she's about to drop another clutch.

Does this happen, and if so does it happen this quick? Or does she just have gas, lol
