Lock Question
Ok well, this is the third day that I have had my balls paired together. So I was going to take him out today to give him some resting time, but he is still locked on her solidly good.
My question is, that since the first day they were paired, he did not show any interest, but the second and third day (today) he is all over her,
Should I leave him in there for one more day????

Re: Lock Question
I would do keep them together until he is done, give him a couple more days of rest, then put them in again.

Geeze Pat let the poor guy do his job there will ya! Poor snake, striving to do his best and you're standing outside the tub going "hey you done yet???".
I'm sure it'll be fine to let him ummmm finish up for a day then remove him for his resting time.

Re: Lock Question
Ummmm, would you like to be pulled out early, or left in there for another day?

Re: Lock Question
Pat after he is done, let the guy get a bit of a break. Unless you are palpating large follicles in the female already, then once every 2 to 3 weeks is plenty enough copulation, to get the female into the develpoing stage. Don't try to do too much with your males this early in the season, as you don't want them to be run down when the females start developing larger follicles (as this is when you really want to put him to work).
p.s. I have had my balls paired together for nearly 34 years now, and I would never dream of seperating them.
