is it worth it?
Is it worth it to butls a rack for two snakes? I don't plan to get any more just yet at least not for another year or so.. has anyone ever built a rack for 2 snakes? What would you recommend besides glass aquaruims( I know they are horrible).. If I Don't Build or buy .. I planned on switching from aquariums to Sterilite tubs, rubbermaid tubs, or iris tubs i need help with this one ..

Re: is it worth it?
I have a 3 tub rack from animal plastics and while it did cost a little bit it has made my life infinitely easier so yes I would say it was worth every penny.

Re: is it worth it?
(Has to be said) First off, tanks are NOT horrible! They work just as well as tubs, and sometimes better! Just takes a bit of work.
Now, as for the rack thing... Why not? I built a 3 tub rack for my adults using 90qt tubs, so if you built a 3 tub rack you'd have one for the inevitable future snake.
Building your own is really easy. I made mine from 2x4s, hardboard, and 3/4" roof/wall high grade plywood. Cheap, light, simple.

Stand alone tubs are also fairly easy, you just need to make sure you have a soldering iron to make the holes and mini bungee cords to hold the lid secure.

Re: is it worth it?
If you built a 3 tub rack for 32qt Sterelite you could also use 6 15qt or any combination there of. Odds are that you will sooner or later fill the rack up and need more space.
