So, i'm going to undertake an independant study project at my university (college) that has to do with ball pythons. A wesbite i started 2 years ago has had people e-mailing me with the most random questions about their snakes, random fossils found in their back yards, what do to if their snake "loses" a spur, etc. The conclusion I have come to is that there are very few resource books available to the hobby, those that are available have a nice sized price tag that not every keeper can afford.

My independant study is to make a guide to keeping Balls in captivity, going over various things ( as much as I can include in this ) and to have it published and available to the greater public.

The VPI book, Pythons of the world volume 2 and The Complete Ball Python by kevin McCurly are the two most powerful books i have found, and i am having trouble getting them myself.

are there any books i am missing with this list? Complete comprehensive guides, not the 40 page readers that leave you with more questions than when you started reading.

I'm sure i will be posting more about this project and contacting people as it fleshes out, I want to make a valuable resource for this hobby, and even though i only have one snake, i have a lot of research and information that I want to share. If you want to inquire further about this, please private message me, i'd rather keep this thread about other resources.
