Shipping snakes??
OK I seem to remember seeing a sticky that explained how to ship a snake, but for some reason I cannot find it . It may be that I am stupid and blind or that it is 1:16am. IDK.

Re: Shipping snakes??
thank you for the PM.
I have been meaning to open an account with fedex. I am right around the corner from the staffed office that BHB ships their snakes through and have been asked a few times if I work for them when i come to pick up my snake that have been shipped to me.
This is my first time shippping one out though. Is there a write up on how they should be packaged?

Re: Shipping snakes??
We used the FedEx shipping through Reptster. There is a video there done by Greg Graziani that very nicely explains how to pack and ship. You can get the boxes from their supplier and ship through their system with a quite nice FedEx discount. So far I'm hearing good things about this system and am shipping out our first snake using Reptster/FedEx next week.

I use reptster to ship often. I really like their system. It works great. I have not had any issues at all.
The only thing that I noticed is when I was going to purchase shipping boxes through their site, I had to pay sales tax. I then ordered directly through superior enterprise, and did not have to pay sales tax.

Re: Shipping snakes??
I am planning on shipping my snakes across the country soon, from CT to AZ, using repster. I was just hoping you guys could answer a few questions for me. First off, any suggestions on what size box? I was planning on shipping the two snakes together in seperate pillow cases. The snakes are 2 and 2.5 ft. (an 07 and 08/possibly late 07? not really sure). I don't have weights on them, sorry.
Also, i saw that you can choose to use pillow cases or deli cups... Any suggestions on that either? thanks a lot for any help you can provide!
