    shed false alarm?

2 days ago I checked my ball python and it looked like it was about to shed. The eye scales were clouded over and the body color was dull so I thought he would shed in a day or two. I checked on him today and his eyes and head were clear so i thought he shed but he didn't. Is it possible for a snake to just stop during a shed?

You will see a shed in a day or two... Their eyes will clear up just before the shed.

It goes from clear to dark, to opaque and blue, back to dark and then clear and shed!!

You'll have a shed in a day or two! and a nice smelly surprise if you were good!

eyes get cloudy, and pink belly
then the whole body gets grey along with the eyes
    then back to normal
    then shed!
