Re: BP enclosure
What are you using to heat the tank? Do you have an UTH under there? And what are you using to measure the temps? Also, you'll hear several time that ideally you would want a hide on both sides so your BP doesn't choose between thermoregulating and feeling secure. You'd also probably want to cover 3 or those 4 side with posterboard or something to make your BP feel more secure.

Re: BP enclosure
I think some reading is in order...
Go to the sticky posts where you can find the caresheets and "how to set-up a tank display" (or something similar) that may help you to convert the enclosure you have in an appropriate BP enclosure

That tank also looks a little "high". BP's need more surface area than height.

Re: BP enclosure
Welcome to the site!!
So, are you into hearing suggestions that might make keeping your snake a more positive experience? If not, do not read further!
I would move the tank away from the drafty window. It will be impossible to keep temps steady in glass by a window!
Try covering the sides and back of the tank with dark colored paper, cloth, etc. This might help to increase your snake's sense of security!
I can't see any temp/humidity monitoring devices in the tank; do you have any in there? If not, you need to do this!! A lot of people use the Acurite digital thermometer/hygrometer.
I can't see how you are heating the tank. Are you heating the tank? Heat is very important for ball pythons health and survival!
Lots of ball pythons need two hides, one on the warm end of the tank and one on the cooler end of tank- this way they can thermoregulate and still feel secure.
I'm guessing that the clip-on light is for your viewing purposes- is this right? Ball pythons need 12/12 periods of light and darkness and so I'm guessing that you might turn the light off at night...?
Lastly, where's the picture of your snake?!?!?! We are nuts for seeing snakey pictures!!!!! Take care.

im from the philippines and its quite hot in here due to tropical climate. thats why other python owners here have their enclosure as a screen type cages.
i think temp problem arises mainly on foreign countries like USA, europe and other cold places.
