explain pastel ivory cross please
Ok a bit confused on what you would get with a pastel ivory.
I will use a cinny for example.
what would you get if you bread PIvory to a cinny?
would it take more to a pastel and get a pewter or maybe some yellowbellies and an ivory pewter?
I'm not your friend buddy!

An ivory is a homozyous Yellowbelly.
(two genes for yellowbelly)... so all an Ivory can give is the gene for a yellow belly.
Breed to a normal... all yellowbellies...
Breed to a cinnie... 1/2 yellowbellies, 1/2 cinnamon yellowbellies.
Breed to a pastal... 1/2 yellowbellies, 1/2 pastel yellowbellies.

Pastel ivory to cinnie...
... I loathe punnet squares, but I think it is...
1 Cinnamon Pastel YB (pewter yellowbelly)
1 Cinnamon YB
1 Pastel YB
1 YB
The pastel ivory can give YB and Pastel YB, while the Cinnamon can give cinnamon or normal.

Re: explain pastel ivory cross please
It is a great clutch... if you get one, feel free to send the eggs my way. I will even pay for shipping.
But that is one of the reasons I want an Ivory or Ivory cross one day. That way you know every egg is a YB, no having to guess, or look for markers, etc.
Glad that helped.
Or you looking to cross those snakes, or just trying to get a grip on the genetics and potentials early?
