    Unproven YB's

Does anyone have any unproven lines of yellowbellies? I almost always see on the classifieds 'proven ivory making line' (or something along those lines). Are they saying that there are yellowbellies out that that no matter how many yellowbellies it's bred to, no matter how many eggs, you will never produce an ivory?

I think what they're getting at is not so much that it's been proven to NOT produce ivories, but it just hasn't been bred to produce ivories yet. When you pick a yellowbelly out of a shipment of captive hatched balls, it's not proven yet. You're just making an educated guess based on its looks.
