    Red face OK....I need Help.......Please

Ok so, I was givin three Oketee????? corns yesterday, because they have not eaten since being hatched.

They hatched on 7/25. Others from the clutch have ate, but these three have not.

Id really like to not have to brain the pinky, but I will if I have to.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is only the second time I have ever had Corns in my posession, and the first was already an established eater.

    Thanx Guys!!!!!!

If you cannot get it started on mice, try scenting with an anole or similar lizard, seeing as corns in the wild often make lizards their prey when they are hatchlings, OR, you can try scenting with chicken broth "sp"? and even better use a frozen baby chick and thaw a pinky with it in the same bag.....hope this helps....and I hope the best for the little guys!!!

This may sound cruel, but what about baby Western Fence Lizards? I have millions of them running around here.

Congrats on all your new additions man. I would be worried about parasites using wc lizards. Good luck getting those bad boys to start eating. I had an albino Okeetee/fluorescent corn, and she was one of my favorites.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

If you can just find a shed of the lizard and roll the pink in your hand with the shed, if you have any kind lizard skin it should work...

Also I always try ft super heated really clean pink first, then live or brained and then I scent....First with chicken broth and then lizard skin, if none of that works and you really want to get it to eat then I would try some small lizards.

Don't feed if you've used rid.

Braining really does work well but some of them just never eat.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

I had the same problem when my corn was a baby. Put each one in a very small tupperware container with holes. Put the snake in then the pinky. Cover the container and leave for a couple of hours. When mine was a baby this is the only way I got her to eat. Now she is the best eater ever Of course this is assuming that you did not already try it.
