I've been renting on my own for about a year now. So I definitely don't have a lot of experience being on my own and I definitely don't have the money to even think of buying a house.

But my dream is to get a house, with a few acres. I really want to keep chickens, goats, maybe a cow or two, and some horses. How many acres can I expect to purchase with a dream like that? I know that land is expensive, especially around here. But I can dream.
