    I like boas

Ok, the title is a little lame, but I had decided that I love boas. I haven't had much experience with a full grown columbian (I probably spelled that wrong), but I have a hatchling (100g) female named Isis. I love her to death. She is so mellow and calm. Only gets pissy around dinner time.

Once I get all my financial stuff situated, I'd really like to get another boa. My girl will get somewhere between 7-9 feet I believe, so I don't want anything bigger than that. Maybe a male boa. My girl lives in a 20g Long tank right now. They said that would be ok for a bit. I will have another 20g Long tank once I take down my saltwater tank. All it will need is a good clean and a screen top with some locks.

So what would you all recommend as far as a morph of columbian red tail boa? If you have pictures to go along with your suggestion, please share.

I've never been into morhps. I'm one of those weirdos who just likes the pure locality boa.

I can say, that the Motley (and Super Motley) has always had my attention.

    Re: I like boas

I like both morphs and just a good normal. I like having snakes that look different from the others though, so morphs can be nice. I have a few ball morphs, so I figured why not get a morph for my next boa.

unless your gonna drop some thousands, super motleys prolly outta your range.

Maybe a Hypo, or a pastel. Heck even albinos are pretty cheap these days.

I wouldn't know what my price range is. Could you include a guesstimated price range for the morphs you suggest?

You can pick up an albino for between $400-$1000 maybe depending on where and what line. I think they are pretty sweet. I prefer normal locality appearance myself....although some morphs can be cool. But what do I know...i'm a python guy (with one BCI)
