feeders in north DFW
Does anyone know a place in the Lewisville/Denton area that always has pinky/fuzzy rats. The only place I know of is PetLand but they are always out. They seem to always have everything but pinky/fuzzy rats.
I'm thinking of switching to mice until my bp gets older, but not sure what size mouse is equal to a pinky rat. I'd rather keep him on pinky rats if I can find them.

www.Bigcheeserodents.com
They are off of West Seminary in Ft Worth. They have a $25 minimum order, but your snake will be on adult mice very soon(hoppers are only needed by just-hatched babies), so you can buy some and just keep them around. I buy 275-300 at a time.

Re: feeders in north DFW
Thanks for the help guys.
I was a little worried he wouldn't take f/t because he has been eating live, but decided it wouldn't hurt to try. I went to the pet store and all they had was frozen mice. I picked up a couple of hopper mice (thanks for the size info microdot) Defrosted one in hot water, grabbed my tongs, and did the zombie rat dance that I've read so much about. It didn't take him 2 minutes and he struck and took it like a champ!!
I was really surprised he took it so fast! His feeding response was perfect.
I'm really proud of him. I have one more hopper mice to feed him next week, but will order some frozen pinky rats from bigcheeserodents.com
That's a huge load off my mind. Now I never have to worry about the stores running out again!
