what on earth is this?!
Well, it is day 55 for this egg (clutch of 4, spider x reduced female.) WHY is it so LIGHT compared to the Spiders we hatched out last week!? Check it out..

looks like your reduced passed off some of its pattern onto a spider and not sure about the lightness

Could be that the color pigment hasn't fully developed yet.... which gives super light appearances in babies that have yet to fully develop their color before emerging from the egg...

I was thinking the same thing. A lot of cutters will find their babies color up a bit more in the first week after they come out.

We'll see what happens. Mom is a relatively normal-hued reduced girl; nothing Pastelish at all

SWEEEET! I know that they can vary in colors quite a bit... At any rate, that's a HOTTIE! Please keep us updated on that little QT!
