    Tropical Storm Fay

OK, so as it turns out, I am right in the projected path of the storm(so far). Ive got my 3 foot ball, and my 5 foot RTB, both with uth's. Im wondering if theres anything I can do, in regards to preparing for a power outage. Is there anything i can do, to insulate or wrap the cgaes somehow, just in case we lose heat for an extended amount of time ?im really worried about keeping them comfortable during the storm, if need be. Oh and generators arent an option simply because I'm flat broke lol. Id appreciate any tips Thank you

Fortunately, a power outage at this time of year really isn't a problem because it's hot out all the time anyhow. Even at night, the temps usually stay in the upper 70's.

I'm not worried about heating issues if our power goes out...I'm more worried about it being TOO hot than not warm enough.

Honestly, I don't think there's anything to worry about.

    Re: Tropical Storm Fay

I was without power for a little over a week during the last big storm in Palm Beach County in 2004. All the snakes did fine! It's warm enough that it will be fine if it happens. Incidentally before I moved to Florida, Palm Beach County hadn't had a hurricane in like 32 years. After I left Florida there hasn't been another hurricane since. Coincidence?
