    Ball Python Feeding

    Hey guys, just wondering, my ball python is 22" long, so just little, what size and how many mice should i be feeding him? i already know to feed him once a week, just wondering on the size and how many at once to feed him. i was thinking 3-4 Hoppers.

    I would suggest feeding him only one or two of his properly sized meal. One large mouse that is the same width as the thickest point on the snake is sufficient.
    Maybe you would need a small/weanling rat.

    It is really nice to have the weight of the ball python indicate the size of prey. Lots of members feed prey that is 10-15% of the weight of the snake.

    thanx for the replys everyone, i dunno what his weight is, ive never weighed him, but i picked up some hopper mice, i know he could go bigger, but it is easier to get them eating on something smaller, considering this will be his first meal, am i correct in saying this? ill weigh him when i take him out next though, thanx.
