Okay, so I'm kinda excited, I have 4 super worm beetles! Woot!
My Gimp super worm beetle and the Big Guy have just copulated![pic to follow shortly]
So here's my problem, what the heck do I do now? How should I set them up I guess is a better question.
I have them in a 12 qt tub with very minimal covering of substrate of chick feed. I feed them greens and carrots and potatoes every other day, but in efforts to not grow mold, I feed it to them on a little plate. (I know.... )
What kind of set up is optimal for a colony?
What the heck do the eggs look like and where do they lay them? I dont want to accidentally throw them away!
Help meeeee
I really have no skill with insects, so this is all very nerve racking for me!
