    equine fresh

Im just wondering would it be cheaper for me to use the 40 pound bags of equine fresh for $5.00 or pine bedding.I have to clean 18 cement mixing tubs a week that are 27 by 21 inches, how long do you think a bag of this equine fresh would last me.I think it will be cheaper because i hear you put just a little bit to cover the bottoms of the tubs. Also do you think my females would be fine having their litters on this if i have some pine in there so they can make their nests.

Id just buy a bag and test it out since it is so cheap, and will not hurt your budget.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

    Re: equine fresh

I put a layer of Equine Fresh then put a thin layer of Aspen for my females to build their nest. I
have seven cement mixing tubs and it last me about 3-4 weeks. I clean them out once week.
It will be cheaper. But one bad thing about the Equine Fresh is it creates a lot of dust.

    Re: equine fresh

I get 15 cement tub changes per bag. Nursing Females get very little equine fresh with mostly aspen until the pups are 2 weeks old. Otherwise, the dust from the pellets will clog their nostrils and you will lose litters.

    Hope that helps ya
