    Overactive bladder?

I have a male ball python that at least a year old, weighing about 1300 grams. He pees everyday if not every other day with urates. He doesn't look unhealthy, feeds regularly, and I see no difference in his behavioral pattern. Is this bad? How can it be good?

    Re: Overactive bladder?

I have no experience on this subject because Ive never had a snake that urinates too much but one way it can be healthy is that it has an active bladder... I know reptiles are nothing like humans but with males doctors say that having at least 1 if not more bowl movments a day helps reduce the risk of prostate cancer...
