Calcified eggs?

Hey all, its me again.

My 4 y-o female corn surprised me last night when i went to feed her. She left me a present: one teeny, hard, marble-like calcified egg and one full size normal egg with some slight dimpling. she hasn't been bred in at least over a year (the breeder said she was egg bound because she was bred waaay to early, but that was a long time ago).

Is it possible that the calcified egg is still left over from her previous problems a year ago? I put the 'good' egg in the freezer (dont know why, there couldn't be anything living in it) just to be sure and then threw it out. should i take her to see a vet, wait it out, or what? She's otherwise fine, she ate AOK and is just as active as ever.

Actually, corns can retain sperm, so it might have been fertile.

I've also heard about females laying eggs even if they've NEVER been with a male.

she does have a slight 'bumpy' area about 1-2 inches above her vent, but her last meal is also unaccounted for so it may well be poop. she's having trouble pooping, methinks, because it seems like she only expels waste every second meal (so every 2 weeks).

she hasn't left me any more presents yet, but i'm waiting to see what she may have in store.

And yes, she was bred in the past. i had no idea they could hold sperm for so long, it has to be well over a year since she was bred (actually, it would have to be closer to two years, i'd imagine). you learn something every day!! maybe i should've candled the good egg!
