Re: chocolates!!!!!!
I have a pet store female that has some chocolate like qualities and has proven genetic but I'm not sure she is a chocolate. From what I've been able to gather they belly isn't right (mine is mostly clear and I understand chocolates have dark mottled areas). We are calling this line Garcia after Dan Garcia who got that pet store female to finally breed on a loan last year and produce half babies like her to prove genetic.
So hopefully someone else can post confirmed chocolate combos but here is a Mojave Garcia from this year's breeding loan with Marshall Van Thorre. Just before her 2nd shed I started to notice a nice dark chocolate color to her sides so when she finishes this shed I'll take some new pictures and post them.

Re: chocolates!!!!!!
Could be but I'm getting more confident she is the combo. In addition to the increased black pattern that runs in the Garcia line I thought the extreme white checking on the lower half of the sides was not typical for straight Mojave. But once she started developing the dark chocolate color (after this picture that was taken immediately post 1st shed) that her sister and mom have I was pretty sure. I'll get a new picture up in a couple days after her 2nd shed is finished. Just wish I had a male I thought was the combo.
For now here is a picture of mom and big sis that turned out a little higher yellow that it should so you don't see the dark mahogany color so well (mostly on the younger animal).

Re: chocolates!!!!!!
For my money -- that's a combo Randy. The dark is DARK!!! Also. the yellow on the dorsal really pops. Great contrast. I don't think your base morphs are Chocolate based on the ones I have seen. Keep us posted on how the project unfolds. I like the snake a lot!!!

Re: chocolates!!!!!!
Thanks. The picture of the hopefully combo snake are pretty right on for how she looked right after first shed. But she was shifting to really dark brown on the sides going into her second shed so I can't wait to see her in a few days after shedding and will post pictures (sorry for those not interested, typical dad here). But the colors are pretty bad in the pic of the mom and last year baby (who is also in shed right now). While dark the yearling really is more dark brown and less yellow. I might try a picture of all three together after the sheds. Or maybe because of the size difference just the 07 and the 08.

Yes Superballs.
And thanks Joe. I've seen some weird Mojave pictures lately so hard to know what is within normal for them. I just wish I had a male I knew for sure had whatever this new Garcia gene is.
Now someone post some for sure chocolate combos.
