    always on the cool side

My male redtail always stays in his cool side under his hide. hes about 3 foot long and as big around as a 50 cent piece. hes in a 40 breeder for now with a big water dish a big hunk of drift wood to climb on hes got a hide in the cool corner (but if i move the hide he still squishes hisself in the corner). his temps are about 80 on the cool side and 90 on the warm side. he doesnt climb or anything either he just hides all the time. he will walk over drink some water and walk back and hide. he always eats well for me. he gets a small/medium sized live rat every 7 days. and he sheds and poops just right. (actually he just had the most perfect shed ive ever seen) am i doing something wrong or is he just lazy??

My Suri is the same. Hides more than a BP! At least you don't have any other problems. I think mine bacame constipated from this lack of movement.
