So, my company has four season passes to the Suntrust Club at Turner Stadium - more about those seats here:

Last week my boss pulled me aside and told me that he had just been given two tickets by our VP and that another manager had two tickets and were asked to choose an employee to take to recognize them for their work and for team building. He wanted to invite me to thank me for all the work I've been doing, and apologized that it wasn't a cash bonus (one game seats are $275), but he really appreciated all I've been doing for the team and wanted to recognize me.

I'm a buyer for a technology company in the metro Atlanta area, and one of our buyers left after 10 years to persue her dream of being an elementary school teacher. We had her replacement lined up, and he didn't show - so all month I've been doing my workload, her workload and attending day long Oracle training sessions, as we are upgrading our current software on January 1.

Needless to say, I feel pulled in 10 different directions every day, yet have somehow kept it together. I am feeling it, as I am completely exhausted each day.

So - the game is tonight, I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I'm super excited for this once in a lifetime opportunity to sit in some fabulous seats.

Talked to another employee who got to go sit in these seats, and he said the underground restaurant is really neat, and that the food they bring you to your seats is also a bit upscale - rather than chicken tenders, you get chicken tempura. Rather than a chicken sandwich, you get a chicken panini, etc. They tell me the calamari in the underground restaurant is fabulous!

It's going to be nice to be spoiled for a few hours this evening!
