Ok, I'm starting a big record book, what should I put in it?

I've decided that down the road when I start producing hatchlings I'll want to have pristine records that I can always refere back to. I'm just trying to figure out everything I need to record. All my snakes have very comprehesive record cards already but I want to be able to keep further details in a large binder. So far I have a huge chart to record the monthly weights of all my bps, and a list of "Purchased ball pythons". When I start producing babies I'll also have a list of "Hatched Ball Pythons". I'm just wondering what else you guys think I should put? I'm thinking I should have a page dedicated to each animal, to record stuff like who I got it from, and to put old pictures and record cards of them, what do you guys think?

You should just get the Degei software; it has everything you listed and more....

    I keep written records also.

Each snake has a steno pad where I record the date of: weight, poo, shed, prey size and if they accept or refuse. I also make any notes on each snake that I feel are noteworthy.

My thoughts exactly. I even make a note of dead or live prey.

I already do all that, I mark down everytime one sheds, or poos, and when and what they eat...

I keep similar ones, but on index cards. I also keep weights as well, I usually weigh them after each time they poop.
