    Quick Question

So we have had Funky a little over a week now. He seemed a little dull in color, but today I noticed his eyes are almost opaque. When should I expect him to shed? It has to be pretty soon right? The picture isn't that great, our digital camera broke so this was taken with my phone.

PS Its not always that brightin there, I just turned a lamp on to get a picture.

    Re: Quick Question

He'll probably go back to looking normal a day or two before he sheds. Some snakes take a few weeks to shed and some only a few days... each snake is different! Just make sure to keep the humidity up to help him along!

Haha! You'll probably also notice (if you handle him which I wouldn't reccomend at the moment) that his belly will turn pink before shedding also.

    Re: Quick Question

He really has been cranky this week. We fed him on wed. so I hadn't tried to handle him since then but tonight I woke him up because I hadn't seen him since he ate. He didn't enjoy that at all.

I find once there eyes are opaque its about a week away from a shed. He may not eat on the next feeding but you shouldn't worry about it.
